Spritz Shack at The Gun

There’s no better way to spend a great British summer’s day than socialising in the sun, by the river, with an ice-cold beverage in hand. The Docklands’ historic gastropub, The Gun, has collaborated with Aperol to transform its outdoor riverside space into the Spritz Shack. The area will be complete with lawn games, Aperol Spritz and a simple, fresh summer menu. The venue has extraordinary views overlooking the Thames and the iconic o2.

The terraced decking of the popular venue will offer sun-soaked oasis just moments from the beating heart of Canary Wharf. There will be a private bar at the Spritz Shack for sun-seekers to enjoy a drink or two by the riverside. The bar will specialise in the capital’s refreshing summer spritz of choice. The private bar will include specially designed Aperol cocktails, alongside traditional English Fruit Cups, bottles of beer chilling in ice-filled wheelbarrows and a selection of wines alongside a variety of food packages.

The variety of food options on offer will include some great menus. The Picnic Basket Menu will feature finger sandwiches; Sicilian olives; broccoli and stilton quiche and mini sausage rolls, with a price of £17 per person. Other more decadent menu options include a Canapé Menu, Bowl Food Menu and Market Stall Menu. With the other offerings ranging from £17-42 per person you can be sure that there will be something for everyone on offer. The venue will also be available to hire for private parties and events for any occasion.
