The Tattoo Collective, a brand new very exclusive event showcasing the absolute best of British and Irish studios alongside inspirational art exhibitions and the chicest artist-driven alternative merchandise and clothing stalls, with over 400 attending artists flying in from all corners of the globe to participate each year, will be taking place at The Old Truman Brewery in Brick Lane from 17-19 February 2017.
The demand from the world-wide tattoo elite to work at The International London Tattoo Convention is now so high that there is a 3 year + waiting list, very much limiting the number of spaces available for the best of UK and Irish studios.
A carefully curated collection of must-see art exhibitions will feast the eyes of attendees, such as the ‘General Artist Exhibition’, where over 100 pieces of art in a diverse range of disciplines submitted by attending artists will be on display. Pieces (many of which will be available for sale) range from the conceptual to the traditional and offer an incredible insight to the creative minds of the UK & Ireland’s best tattoo artists.
Furthermore, the show will present Han’nya Brigade’, a collection of over 250 interpretations of the iconic Japanese han’nya mask by Fabio Gargiulo, ‘Jupiter’s Daughters’ will exhibit a powerful series of paintings of fierce and beautiful characters by London-based tattoo artist Claudia de Sabe, ‘The Dawn of Tomorrow’, will unveil a collaborative series by attending artists Jo Harrison and Hanumantra, ‘The Art of Claudia Ducalia’ will present a collection of works by Italian artist Claudia Ducalia and ‘Tahiti – Poynesian Tatau’ that will showcase a series of strong, powerful photographic images by Dale May.
Finally, the world famous AONO Barbershop will be offering visitors and artists free haircuts and styling.
