One of the UK’s leading luxury wedding, party and event planner’s Bruce Russell transformed within 24 hours the inside of the prestigious Savoy ballroom into a unique al fresco summer BBQ soiree by bringing outdoors inside.
From the real, soil free wow grass complimenting beautiful floral designs by wild about flowers and clever video mapping from Lux Technical I felt I had been transported from a rainy London evening into an enchanting English summer. Imaginative touches of having a butler, housemaid, plumber & gardener serving champagne and pimms while walking around a sumptuous chocolate fondue fountain immediately made me feel “at home with Bruce”. Freshly prepared, grilled mini burgers, halloumi, roasted peppers were being prepared along with tasty appetisers eg. ham and hock, pork belly, truffle ravioli being served.
The impeccable attention to detail was shown in every corner. Gorgeous furniture from greathire and luxurious table top pieces from amaraliving were laid up in an elegant dinning area leading off to a show stopping white, baby grand piano decorated with stylish florals, flickering in soft candlelight with live music. A plush drawingroom with a gentlemans mini bar, offering a cocktail with a vast cheese board and a tempting range of delicious desserts left you fully satisfied. A fun photo station with a decadent french bathtub and newspaper props with headlines reading “A night to remember” certainly lived up to it’s name and having to depart back into the bustling, cold was no doubt how Eve felt after biting the forbidden fruit. For anyone planning a truly visually, unique event Bruce Russell knows how to transport you into his beautifully creative Eden even if it’s only for a couple of hours.
