The heat is going to reach fever pitch this week as this summer’s newest restaurant. Bonfire continues its fiery debut at the Barbican Centre. Putting the ‘B,’ back into BBQ London’s latest Burger hangout is getting the temperature turned up high with the launch of Bonfire at the Barbican. Bonfire’s manager, Peter Alderin has said of the new hot spot:  “Bonfire will provide the Barbican Centre with a completely new dimension in food and drink, giving visitors a new, different choice when dining at this brilliant venue.”

Bonfire Restaurant

The new restaurant and bar flames fly high on the 1st floor of the Barbican Centre. It specialises in burgers and chicken dishes, with an emphasis on using quality British ingredients to provide customers with high-quality dining in a comfortable relaxed atmosphere. The burgers use beef from the Lake District, while Bonfire’s spit-roast dishes use Kent based free-range chickens. However, it is thought that Bonfire’s signature shakes could steal the crown from the food, as Bonfire’s must have on the menu. Shake’s are sure to become a firm favourite to help guests at Bonfire to cool off. This includes home made creations such as PBJ which is peanut butter ice-cream with strawberries and salted caramel.

Comforting desserts in the form of Pecan Pie, Sweet Cherry Pie and White Chocolate Cheesecake will satisfy any sweet tooths. For those looking for something with a bit more kick there will be a range of craft beers, cocktails and wines, so there will be no dry mouth’s round the Bonfire this Summer! “We’re confident that Bonfire will become a destination in its own right as well as providing fantastic food to visitors, and we can’t wait to allow guests in to our restaurant to try out our menu for the fist time.” You can find out more information about the restaurant on their website here.
