Petersham Nurseries are hosting an array of festivities from June 5th – June 10th to commemorate its 10th anniversary. The public is invited to escape the bustle of London, and relish in the celebratory events that will pay tribute to members that have contributed to the business and integrate the components that Petersham Nurseries offers.

The anniversary celebration commences on Thursday 5th with the tasting of the Petersham Anniversary Tea Blend at 4pm, following into a three course dinner at the restaurant which is inspired by culinary director and former head gardener, Lucy Boyd. You can expect to dine on antique tables decorated in candlelight and beautiful blossom from the cutting garden.

The supper club dinner will continue onto Friday 6th, guests will indulge in a sparkling aperitif to embrace the commemoration and that Friday feeling. A complimentary personal shopping experience with exclusive discount is available to visitors to browse through the shop and nursery for the evening. The scenic grounds of Petersham gardens are open to guests on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th for a picnic presented by the Managing Director, Lara Boglione. Visitors will be entertained by competitions, playhouse shows and live music throughout the weekend.

Hosting their first ever evening event, ‘An Introduction to the World Roses,’ is a riveting and informative talk conducted by rose expert, Martin Ogden, to educate visitors on old fashioned roses. Resident florist, Ronnie de Koning, will lead a practical demonstration of wild summer planting task which will be convenient for maintaining your own gardens and flowerpots this Summer!

The finale to the fantastic long weekend of celebrations is the Petersham Nuseries 10th Anniversary Summer Party. The evening opens with live music accompanied with drinks and canapés on the grounds of Petersham House, then a three course dinner accompanied by wines from the Petersham Cellar. To conclude the event, guests will enjoy the entertainment provided and displayed by Petersham Playhouse and can dance the night away in the grand Petersham House ballroom.
