The heart of Canary Wharf will soon see the opening of Tom’s Kitchen, a modern British Brasserie which uses the finest locally sourced ingredients. Located in Westferry Circus, the new venue will be open seven days a week and will be serving from breakfast right through to dinner.
Using classic Brasserie-inspired décor throughout, there will be a dining and bar area, as well as a welcoming communal area, featuring coloured leather and glazed tiles giving it an authentic feel. Tom’s Kitchen will also have an outside terrace which will seat 80, perfect for after work drinks or al fresco dining.
Tom’s Kitchen is already well established, with restaurants in Cale Street, Chelsea and Somerset House, where those in the know head to on weekends for its infamous brunch, which includes Eggs Benedict as well as Brioche French Toast with caramelised apples and cinnamon cream.
Afternoons will see the deli in full swing, offering an array of fresh sandwiches, soaps, hotpots and homemade delights for those on the go. Furthermore, the bar will come alive in the evening offering delicious cocktails, wines and craft beers from Redchurch Brewery.
On the prospect of his latest venture, owner Tom Aikens, said: “We have been exploring options for a space in East London for some time now and we are thrilled to be moving forward with this exciting third location.”
Tom’s Kitchen is hoping to expand throughout London, Europe and internationally, with a restaurant opening in Istanbul in August 2013.
