To ensure icy London does not kill the spirit and to keep the doctor away, you can try these cocktails at The Botanist up until 12th February or recreate a couple of them yourself!
As they say a little of what you fancy can actually do you good…
HAZY DAYS
Ingredients
- 30ml Tanqueray gin
- 15ml green apple liqueur
- 2 pieces of ginger
- 8 dry Goji berries
- 20ml lemon juice
- 10ml gomme syrup
Method
Cut 2 slices of ginger and put them in a Boston glass. Add 8 dry Goji berries and muddle everything together. Add the lemon juice, gomme syrup, Tanqueray gin and apple liqueur. Fill up the Boston glass with ice and shake. Double strain into a glass and enjoy!
LEMON AID
Ingredients
- 50ml of Tanqueray gin infusion (infuse 10 dry apricots in a whole gin bottle for 7 days)
- 25ml lemon juice
- 10ml white tea syrup (Add 10ml of the white tea and 10g of sugar into a pan and bring to the boil and then cool. This will then form the syrup you will need.)
Method
Take a Boston glass and pour in the Tanqueray infused gin, lemon juice and white tea syrup. Fill with ice. Shake and double strain into a glass.
