Since its inception in 2008 its reputation continues to grow, and the quintessential English elegance of the past is brought into the present by the skill of designer David Collins. The signature elements are the artisanal influences of Savile Row which give the 54-seat bar its defined style.
Under the guidance and management of renowned mixologist Agostino Perrone, the bar has an impressive cocktail list. It features Classics, Signature, Bubbles and three other categories. There is also a large list of vintage Champagnes and fine wines. Meanwhile the bar food menu has been created by the Connaught’s Michelin-starred chef
Hélène Darroze who has introduced some of her signature ingredients and flavours from the south west of France.Our cocktail of choice this week comes from the Bubbles section or cocktail creations with a Champagne topping.
15ml Mirabelle eau de vie
15ml mandarin puree
15ml homemade sugar syrup
4 drops vanilla bitters
Add Mirabelle eau de vie, mandarin puree, vanilla bitters and the sugar syrup to the mixing glass. Stir with a bar spoon and pour into a Champagne flute. Top with Champagne and garnish with a cherry.
