After a successful début last year, it quickly established itself as the place where the great and the good would inevitably end up after a night of hard partying at their socialite host’s invitation.
A popup within Philippe Starck’s Palazzina Grassi, celebrities, film stars, politicians and models arrive via the canal and are led inside quickly and discreetly.
This year, it seems an elegant champagne cocktail is the drink of choice:
Raspberry Royal Mojito
- 50ml Havana Especial rum
- 15ml lime juice
- 10ml gomme
- 5ml Chambord
- 6-8 mint leaves
- 4-5 raspberries
- Top up with Krug champagne
Glass: high-ball, crushed ice
Method: Stir the ingredients together, add garnish and serve
Garnish: mint sprig, raspberries
Russian Summer Punch
50ml Belvedere Vodka- 25ml lemon juice
- 10ml gomme
- Prosecco (can be swapped with Krug)
- Drizzle of Chambord
Glass: Rocks, cubed ice
Method: Build (pour the ingredients directly into the glass), top up with the Prosecco and add a drizzle of Chambord
Garnish: Lemon wedge
